How to reach us
By car
Follow directions for Naples. For those travelling from the north it will be necessary to get into the left hand lane for Salerno at approx 15 km after the Naples toll-gate. Continue along the A3 (Salerno- Reggio Calabria/Penisola sorrentina) and exit at the Castellammare di Stabia junction.
Follow signs for Sorrento and after passing through Meta there are two possibilities:
- take the left turn for Positano-Amalfi-Sant’Agata (country road to avoid the traffic in Piano di Sorrento, Sant’ Agnello and Sorrento)
- continue to Sorrento and follow on to Sant’ Agata
The Hotel Sant’ Agata is a few metres from the centre of Sant’ Agata.

By Plane
Dall'aeroporto di Capodichino (Napoli) è possibile:
- reach Sorrento by “Curreri” coach departures at 9:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:30, 19:30 daily. The buses leave from the small square opposite the arrivals exit at the airport; the journey takes approx an hour and the cost of the ticket is € 7.00, tickets can be purchased on the bus
- book your transfer from the airport; for further details complete the relevant form
- by self-drive hire car (follows instruction for “By car”)
- take a taxi or bus (the service is frequent and economical) to the central railway station in Piazza Garibaldi and then take the “Circumvesuviana” line which links Naples and Sorrento.
From the station in Sorrento there is a regular bus service (Sita) to Sant’ Agata. Buses take one of two routes: “Via Nastro Verde” or “Via Massa” and run approximately every 25 minutes, and stop at a few metres from the hotel. It is not necessary to buy another ticket, you simply clip the ticket used for the metro. There is also the possibility of booking a transfer from Sorrento station to the hotel by completing the relevant form. This choice is undoulstedly more comfortable for those carrying a certain amount of luggage.
By Train
Intercity, Eurostar and regional trains run between “Napoli Centrale” and all major Italian cities. On arrival at “Napoli centrale” follow the signs for the Circumvesuviana which is the service linking Naples and Sorrento. Buy your tickets a the “circumvesuviana” ticket office (cost approx € 3,50).
Trains depart at approx 30 min intervals from Naples to Sorrento (trains terminate here) and the journey time is approx. 60 mins. Travelling late in the evening is not advisable. From the station in Sorrento there is a regular bus service (SITA) to Sant’ Agata. By sea
The port of Naples “Beverello” is connected by the boat service LMP down at the port of Marina Piccola in Sorrento. The boats leave at the following times: 9.10, 11.00, 13.05, 15.15, 17.15, 18.35, 19.30.
At the port of Sorrento it is necessary to buy a bus ticket “unico” with which it is possible to arrive at the station taking the bus down at the port, then you get the “SITA” bus for Sant’Agata, the bus marked “via Nastro verde” or “Via Massa” leaves for Sant’ Agata about every 25 minutes, the bus stop is only a few metres from the hotel. It is also possible to arrange a transfer from the station in Sorrento by filling out the form and it is obviously more comfortable if you have a lot of luggage.
